About Natalie

I’m a social worker and educator living the traveler’s dream, rolling across the U.S. with my pickleball-loving husband and our grumbling dog.

After more than two decades of witnessing human growth and resilience around the world, I’ve been working on ways to break down heavyweight issues, provide actionable strategies, and weave in the personal stories to help others.

What you’ll see in my writing:

I’m a learner.

Risks, mistakes and trying new things hold immense value. I combine these lessons with my teacher’s spirit to share not just stories, but life’s learning moments. My writing is fueled by a candid mix of doozies and mishaps, each a stepping stone to discovery and growth. If you love the beauty in imperfection and the wisdom in taking risks, my writing is made for you.

I’m a traveler.

I’ve explored the world for work and play, and since 2020, I’ve been living on the road, crisscrossing America. My sharing draws from the places I’ve been, the people I’ve met, and the adventures I’ve had. If you enjoy learning ways to live this life alongside people’s amazing stories, my writing is just for you.

I am an optimist.

In my world, the glass isn’t just half full—it’s constantly refilling. My journey’s been packed with stories from people who’ve shared the highs and lows of life. These encounters have given me a unique lens on human behavior, shaping the topics I research and write about.
